Indeed, as I have said already, since my best choice and wish of downloading and installing Word Starter 2010 has not been feasible till now, despite all the suggestions I received from all of you (and thank you very much), my second best choices are LibreOffice and conversion of Word documents to pdf.

To those facing a problem with Word similar to mine: Here is a 3rd excellent way to open Word documents, if Word is missing: FreeOffice. You can download it here: www.freeoffice.com - FreeOffice for Windows, Mac and Linux

Another free office suite that is similar to LibreOffice & has been around for quite a while is
Apache OpenOffice

ΟΚ. with Apache OpenOffice we now have 4 different ways to open Word documents, if Word Starter was uninstalled and cannot be reinstalled. Many thanks to all of you.
