Hi All!
Firefox "blew up" the other day- don't have a clue what happened, but it stopped working. So, the only sensible thing to do was re-install it, right?
Problem: If you re-install Firefox or Thunderbird you stand an excellent chance of losing all your Bookmarks and Add-Ons- not fun
Solution: MozBackup
This is a no-install portable utility that will back up everything related to Firefox and/or Thunderbird to the directory of your choice. You can even pick and choose which elements of the profile you want saved.
Re-install Firefox and restore your configuration with MozBackup. Easy as pie.
Edit: Just to clarify- this is not an add-on but a separate utility.
Here's the link to MozBackup: MozBackup - Backup tool for Firefox and Thunderbird
I've used this little proggy numerous times on Windows 7 x64.
I think it's great and wanted to share.
