Really need help...pst to WLM

My laptop is running Windows 7 Ultimate, WLM, OUTLOOK (beta). I have pst files that I need to access in WLM or OUTLOOK (beta).

FYI: My upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 Ultimate started out as an upgrade but eventually had to do a new install. So data was not migrated.

I learned that I can use OUTLOOK 2007 to open the .pst files. It asked me to install a connector which I did and as I tried to add the email addr that I used in Vista to access the pst files, it asked me for a password. I forgot the password and the reset email was sent to this email address which I don't have a password to login to acesss anything.

FYI: I was forbidden to use other address to receive this reset message.

Please help.

Sounds like the PST files were exported from a hotmail account...

Are you sure you really can't think of the password...also I believe you can go through the password reset phase that asks questions about the account so you can skip the "Send reset email to account" part

No way out??

I attached the 2 screen snapshots for you herein to review. Yes, I had to provide a valid password for this old Windows Live userid [email protected] before I can access my copied over pst files by adding this account to my current OUTLOOK (beta).

Do I have a way out? I really need to access those pst files

Got the password...trying the work-around

I finally reset my hotmail.com password via another link I found in the Windows Live website.

How to Transfer PST file to WLM?

I finally get to open my PST files copied from Vista OUTLOOK on my Windows 7 OUTLOOK (beta).

How can I get these PST files over to my Windows 7 WLM and open them there?

Any info, instructions and help would be greatly appreciated.

Now comes a really big problem...unless someone corrects me...you can't import PSTs into WLM...

I am afraid you are correct.
