really slow computer?

my computer has been really slow lately, any tips to speed it up?

Run an antivirus scan and download and run malwarebytes.

Then Maintain Properly

Then use a clean boot to find problems during boot

Check out your task manager, to look for process using a lot of ram

Finally, I would uninstall your antivirus and install Micfosoft Security Essentials, has small foot print.

guys, i think its because i turn indexing off, since then when i open a proogram its been slow

If speed is no longer a problem, you should still follow my previous post with the exception of the clean boot, to have the best that you can.

i did a registry defrag, reg clean with tune up utilities, a defrag with defraggler, and used all of ccleaners tools, now its FAST again

i have just found it it is a microsoft error, they released a hotfix
