I have a strange issue. I recently moved, and tore down my desktop. Because of an illness, my wife had to put it together. But some strange things have happened the last 3-4 weeks.
Everything was right, and I had perfect speaker sound using the "Front Speakers Out" jack. I change back and forth with a Bluetooth device, and everything changed automatically and the world was good.
Then the auto-change stopped working about 3 weeks ago. Then last night, all audio through the back panel stopped. The Bluetooth device still works. Now I know I was messing with the Realtek interface (or the Win Sound interface, can't remember), and did something. I've done
1. Disable the device through Device Manager, rebooted, disabled the device in the BIOS, let come up, then rebooted, enabled the device in the BIOS, come up to Win7, still nada.
2. Tried a pair of good earbuds in every audio jack in the rear, nothing.
Sound is at 100%, and the Reaktek is the default device.
Still nothing. I know this is self-inflicted,
Joel
