Hi all
I have my turntable plugged into my line in. I want to record my lp's through Audacity and stream them through Windows media center on my Home theater system, at the same time. Is this possible? Can't seem to find a line in plugin for Media player or media center. Anyone know if I can do this? I am using Win 7 64bit. Thanks

You can't use WMC until the file exists but you should be able to select the default output and point it to your Home Theatre System if it's defined as an audio point from your PC. Post a snip of your audio output devices (Sound > Playback). How is the HTS connected to the PC?

You need to run your turntable through a receiver or preamp first. The output from a phono cartridge is much to low for the input of your computer. Also, there is an RIAA EQ that needs to be compensated for. Your receiver or preamp will boost the signal to line level and put the proper EQ on the signal. Use the aux out on the receiver.
