Recover sent emails after crash

I had to reinstall W7. When I reinstalled Thunderbird email it recovered all the received emails but not the sent emails. Anybody know how I can recover the sent emails ? It is rather criticalfor me. Thanks in advence for the help.

They should be stored on your ISP/Email provider's server. See if you can access them through the web interface, as opposed to the email client.

I think it may depend on your ISP. My ISP (Covad) has a web interface but when I use an email program to send mail the sent items are only saved on my PC and the server's sent items folder is empty.
