Need more details .. as in, what "process" did you follow to attempt to do a "full recovery"?

And, how do you know for sure it was a "virus"?

Thank you for responding. I allowed a virus in by mistake. It was more than I could deal with. It shut off every attempt to download stronger software to remove even in safe mode. I was performing a full recovery from my partition as prompted. All was moving along well until it started loading office trial version stoping at 10/29. I turned it off and on chose to start windows it loaded and returned to office 10/29. I have an Acer AX1430G win 7 home pre built 2011. Thank you

Sorry I didn't get back sooner ...

I'm having real problems understanding how you were performing a full recovery -- as there are several different ways to do this.

Were you using an Acer utility to do a Restore back to original condition? If so, unless someone else here has done this and responds, your best recourse would be to contact Acer tech support and see what they suggest -- since it's their recovery software that is hanging up.
