Recurring BSOD (Hourly) - 0x000000F4

I've followed the instructions and uploaded the required files.

I had it configured for a kernel dump but for some reason, it doesn't work and no dump is created when windows crashes. For now, I've changed it to a minidump and when it BSOD's again, I will update the post if there it creates minidump.

This problem only recently started and recurs hourly. Starts off as all programs stop responding, then task bar dissapears (desktop crashed?) and then everything freezes and finally BSOD.

I've passed memtest86 and checked to make sure my SSD (crucial m4) had latest firmware.

An F4 BSOD points to a hard drive . You said you checked for an updated firmware for your SSD ? If you did

Run a chkdsk /f /r C: from the command prompt . It will ask you to schedule a restart . Do by pressing Y and restart the PC .

Open up an elevated command prompt . Click on rb: type CMD inside Search programs and files box right click on CMD under Programs (1) choose Run as administrator . Click On the Yes button on the UAC window . Command Prompt should open to C:\Windows\System32>_ . Type the command below

chkdsk /f /r c:

and press <ENTER>

Once that is done run the SFC /scannow command inside the command prompt .

SFC /scannow

press <ENTER>

BTW... I was an idiot, I think I didn't update my SSD firmware properly the first time, I placed the installation file on one of my HDDs and didn't pay attention to the error message when it restarted in an attempt to update. Now that I moved the firmware updater to my SSD, I got proper confirmation that it was updated.

For chkdsk to run you have to restart your PC .

Good SFC didn't find any corrupted files .
