sorry if this is the wrong forum

We use Folder Redirection extensively for aspects of the User Profile and would like to redirect the Virtual Machines folder within the User Profile.

Is this possible through a custom ADMX?

To my knowledge I do not see why not. A VM acts pretty much exactly the same way as a full install to HDD.
I can't say what impact on performance would be like, but the process should be the same. I would think, however I have not dealt with it.

Is the VM a member of the same domain? If so, then my guess would be yes, barring any performance hits.

Sorry, I should of mentioned it earlier.....on the original setup of the Virtual Machine (XP Mode) we installed it to a different location to meet our aim of redirected profiles.

We have found more detail regarding this, the Virtual Machines folder has a unique number of {B5947D7F-B489-4FDE-9E77-23780CC610D1}

I would assume that it would be possible to create a custom ADM to redirect this folder
