Hello sunshine and welcome to Seven Forums.

Your computer may have a hidden recovery partition that was installed at the factory by HP. If it does, and if it hasn't been damaged or corrupted in some way, you should be able to restore the computer to factory specs. If successful the computer will be just like it was the day you brought it home. You could check in your Start Menu > All Programs if you have something called HP Recovery Manager or something similar. Or, you could see if you can access Disk Management and see if you have a Recovery Partition.

How To Access Disk Management in Windows 7

This HP support article gives more information about restoring to factory specs.

Or you could elect to do a complete clean reinstall following the instructions prepared by one of the Forum experts. It even includes information on how to obtain a fee and legal Windows 7 installation disk.
