Once you have exhausted all means with the USB method with no success, you might want to start a new thread for the DVD method. Whether by Upgrade disc or by downloaded ISO, we will help you anew from there.
With all due respect Kathy, starting another thread will only lead to yet more confusion by even more people getting involved.
This thread will continue to run in every direction with although helpful comments the barrage of ideas are even leading to more confusion.
