Hello sle3pingz,

I moved your post here as a new thread since it had nothing to do with the tutorial you posted it in. ;)

It depends on what you deleted (ex: key, value, data, etc...), but it usually means that say not all of the subkeys were deleted in a key you deleted if it was a key you deleted.

You could do a system restore using a restore point dated before you did this to restore the registry back to how it was when the restore point was created though.

Or if the computer is working fine then just let it be. Of course many times the result of one's action of editing the Registry may occur days later.

My main question is that why were you wanting to edit the Registry manually?

With the partial information furnished by you the question has been answered as best as possible by Brink.

If you want a more detailed answer then please answer the queries that Brink made in his reply. This is what he said that needs a reply from you, "It depends on what you deleted (ex: key, value, data, etc...), but it usually means that say not all of the subkeys were deleted in a key you deleted if it was a key you deleted."

to me the error message suggests that some of the registry values were deleted but not all, as it was a mistake then roll back the computer to the point before you deleted the registry key.
using system restore.

here is a tutorial how to do that...
