Reinstall Windows 7 on HP Pavilion dv6-3070ca

Hi,

I am unfamiliar with reinstalling or programming computers.
I have been using my HP notebook Pavilion dv6-3070ca with Windows 7 Home Premium for a little over 2 years.
After backing up, wiping and installing Windows 8 on my laptop I have been experiencing nothing but problems.
I use many CAD programs and no longer can use them to the ability I used to...and just started an internship as a product designer. Not a good way to start off.

I want to reinstall windows 7 and have the following questions:
-How do I wipe my computer to start from scratch?
-How do I reinstall windows 7 without a CD?
-Does it make a difference installing windows 7 Home Premium or other versions, for the optimized usage of CAD programs?

Any help would be tremendously appreciated!!!

for your situation.. if you need the windows 7 home premium 64-bit.

if it came with windows 7 home premium then use windows 7 home premium.

then if you have a usb stick that is 4gb or greater, download this program and follow instructions to create the usb backup of windows 7. then boot into the boot menu and select the usb stick. Microsoft Store Online

then when you boot, click install windows and it will come up witht the partitions. delete all of them and click new partition. then click next and go through with the installer.

keep in mind you need a legit windows 7 license key to do this.

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

hp does no longer have restore disks included.. which is why i provide links and he/she specifically said NO cd... so that is why i linked those downloads

All of the steps are here to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Be sure to read the Special Notes for HP owners at the end which explains how to handle the HP REcovery and Tools partitions. Make your Recovery disks first so you have a backup, and so you can delete all partitions during install if that's what you prefer.
