Remote desktop connection to Amazon EC2

I just registered, so sorry if i'm posting in the wrong place.

I just re-installed my windows 7 and i am unable to log back in my amazon EC2 server. I know there's nothing wrong with the server itself because it's accessible trough other PC's.
My firewall is disabled, i don't have an anti-virus program. I am 100% sure that the login details are correct.
When i type(or copy) them in i get a "Your credentials did not work. The logon attempt failed."
This always happens when i reinstall windows or if i try and connect to a new server(or if i change it's password). But after a few attempts it somehow fixes itself (i have no idea what the problem is or how it resolves itself)

As i said i've disabled the firewall (from services) and made sure that all the remote access services are running and that i've made sure that the remote desktop connection setting is "Automatically detect RD Gateway server settings"

No one know why this is happening or how i can fix it?

Did you enter the password on the administrator account?

Yes i did - it tells me the login details are wrong - and they aren't

Click on Use another account

Enter username exactly as displayed on on the EC2 server type it in rather than copy and paste and do the same on password.
