Removeable disk drive not showing up

I just bought one of these:
Western Digital Elements Desktop 2.0 1TB - Hitta lägsta pris, omdömen och information om Externa hårddiskar

I use it for backing up my mac, but I also want to use it to backup my windows system. I've got these partitions:

However, none of these will show up in windows explorer. What am I doing wrong here?

Aahh, nm. Apparently I hadn't assigned a drive letter to it.

Glad to see you have that solved! Too often that's precisely what happens even when plugging a usb flash drive or other removable device you forget to check in the DM!

Since you are sharing the drive between Mac and Windows obviously you wouldn't be reformatting it to NTFS any time soon! Even then you would still need to assign a letter with any new drive or device added.
