Hi guys,
i wanted today to recover my Windows 7 Home premium SP1 64bit to factory backup on my laptop Dell Studio 1749, but when i selected command "repair your computer" in advanced boot options, instead of showing system recovery options it boots Windows 7.
I found few threads about this, but i dont know what to do with by bcd :(
Could anyone, please, help me?

Check the PDF manual link in my first post, page 65 and 66 talk about Dell's DataSafe local backup, that procedure doesn't mention a recovery disk.

First of all I forgot to do this, Welcome to SevenForums DAsrek.

I'm not sure what to do next, I watched the youtube you posted.

The other post you referenced didn't have a resolution either, if it did the OP never posted back.

Why do you need to recover this computer installation, what isn't working?

Regardless of your answers to those questions I don't know enough to help you any more, especially without any recovery media.

Hopefully somebody will come along that can help more than what I've been able to, sorry DAsrek :o

Be sure to read the Special Note to Dell Owners at the end of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
since you'll want to keep the small Dell Diagnostics partition at the beginning of the HD if bootable Dell Diagnostics will run from the F12 boot menu. Those are pretty good to have in case of problems to check over your hardware. In fact I'd check it all over now to see its condition and to make sure the diagnostics run, since you don't need to keep the first partition if they won't.

Ask back any questions you have before you begin, or if you encounter any problems.
