I have an HP Pavilion DV7 notebook PC, running 64-by windows 7, that I had someone set up for me, and they partitioned the drive into three drives, the C: drive, with the programs, the D: drive, a recovery drive I don't really understand and never got into, and the B: Drive, where all my media files can go. This person underestimated how much space I would need on C: Drive, and ever since I've been shuffling things around trying to make it workable, deleting files, uninstalling programs, etc.…
One thing I've been doing is creating mklinks between C: drive and B: Drive, shuffling (what I thought were unnecessary) folders to B: Drive, and linking them back to C:, such as iTunes libraries, phone backups, things like that.
This had previously worked out fine, but today I might've gone a step too far. After running WinDirStat, I found Winsxs, a folder that some online research told me it was for windows updates. My (probably naïve, probably stupid) assumption was that the folder wasn't necessary except when updating Windows, so I moved it to B: drive and was about to create an mklink to the folder, but the the move paused halfway (the files were in use, which probably should probably been a clue). I went to move the files back, but there wasn't enough space on C:drive, a perennial problem, so I restarted the computer, thinking it would clear some space.
It BSOD'd on start-up, and has every time since, error message: STOP: 0x000000f4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA8015A30B10, 0XFFFFFA8015A30DFO, 0xFFFFF8000358DE20)
This is true in safe mode as well.
I can't do a system restore because there's not enough space on C: drive (hurr hurr). I also tried to recover my data for a factory restore, but Start-up repair only recognizes D: drive (the one drive I never use), and even then, it freezes in the process. I'd like to recover said data before I do anything drastic (I'm a writer and illustrator, and there are a number of files I've yet to back up), and would appreciate any advice to this effect.

PS- I read the post about the DM Log collector, but unless I can use it from a USB drive downloaded from a separate computer, I don't foresee being able to use it on this computer…
