Solved Restart reminder after updating Windows.

Not a problem actually, but I would like Windows 7 to 'shut up' after installing updates and asking for a restart. I don't need Windows to remind me every 10 mins, 1 hour or 4 hours as listed in the restart box.

Is there a way to disable the reminder?

How about immediately restarting after installing thus avoiding the reminders > period.

Uh I would love to, but this PC is also a host for several Virtual Machines for clients in my network. I can only restart it during weekends.

And I am using it actively for daily jobs as well. That's what bugging me, pop up to remind me when I work. =s

Would be far better to set your Windows Update to download updates but notify you before installing them. It won't nag you then, it'll just show the Windows Update icon in the notification area so you know updates are waiting for whenever you can get around to them.

If you let WU automatically install updates, that's when you get the nag.

Don't just disable the service - bad idea.
