Restore Points Dead

Could not get past the "you need sp1" issue when I know I got it. Attempted the X17-59183 dvd and got all the way to installing step and on one of its restarts, computer would not reboot. Had to do a hard shutdown, rebooted and got the option to rollback the install so I did. Rebooted computer and tried again. 3rd time was the charm! All working and working correctly. Wish I knew why it did what it did! Thanks a bunch for your help. Be lost with out this forum.

The corruption can sometimes make a Repair Install a struggle. You were right to persist.

Nice work, Ron. :geek:

Do you have access to restore points after again configuring 20%+ disk space as you had?
