Hi

I have today upgraded the hard drive in a Sky+HD box to 1Tb from 320Gb and want to use the 320Gb drive, which is perfectly OK, in my PC. However, although I was able to delete the partition and create a new one, there is no way that Windows 7 will allow me to format the drive as it keeps coming up telling me that it is write protected. I've tried searching the internet for info on how to write enable hard drives but nothing I found has helped - I just can't go any further at all. In fact finding information at all is a little difficult as I'm not at all sure what search term to use. So! Can anyone help me - PLEASE?

Hi

Seems that at present no-one has any idea what to do. Doesn't really matter anyway as I've returned to say I've done it using Diskpart.exe and instructions found on the AVForum website.
