Right Mouse Click not Working-- Rebooted -- now nothing recognized

Hello... I am running dual monitors with right monitor being the slave. Started having a problem with right mouse click not working so I did restart hoping that would fix the problem. On the restart, the left monitor goes immediately into sleep mode but i am receiving output on the right monitor. Now the machine does not recognize the mouse or keyboard. I even tried connecting a hardwired mouse. Tried to start in safe mode but that is not working because it isn't recognizing the mouse or keyboard... Any ideas on this mess?
