I have not yet installed rc1, and I'm sure this question has been asked several times but I'll be honest and say I'm too lazy to search, so go ahead and flame me...I deserve it.:o

Should I not like or have issues with the rc, do I just to a clean install with my Vista disc and all is as it was?

If I use RC for a while and back up my files, would I be able to restore all the files to Vista?

Thanks!

If you mean can you back up your files and format your machine back to Vista if you don't like Win7 RC? Then yes, you can. But you can't "roll back", so to speak. You would need to do a complete clean install and then re-install all your software.
