I read a lot of questions relating to the win 7 driver for rtl8187. Most of the responses were pure bunk. If you can't get this driver thru normal sources for whatever reason, upgrading to 7 from vista or xp, driver not supported or whatever. The simple solution is GO TO WINDOWS UPDATE there is an updated driver for win7 there

Hi threeball, welcome to the forums, not every poster has had the same success as you had , a lot also depends on the architecture of the mobo with regards to it installing correctly on win7 , we are now seeing more and more win7 drivers available that were not around a couple of months ago
