Solved Running Nvidia and AMD Graphic cards in Windows 10?

I dont know
I have fitted a Radeon R9 270x 2gb and an old Nvidia 8400GS like 512mb. They dont seem to perform togeather.

Dxdiag shows a video memory of over 10,000Mb which is irrevalent.
Help me out guys

Then you need to add a second Radeon 270 and Crossfire them. There's no point in trying to run an AMD and an Nvidia card at the same time. If you can get them to work together at all, I doubt you'll get any performance benefit out of them together.

Mother board is wasting power on the 512mb which by the way most onboard graphic's have that much and it's disabled when a real gpu is connected.

Actually it is possible, I have done it 5 years ago with GTX480 and HD5850. Ran it like this for a month or so (mind you, I build my rig with AMD in mind, but later went Nvidia for 3D Vision). It is more like a Frankenstein though

However, the 2 doesn't work together as would 2 AMD or Nvidia GPUs work. There used to be a hybrid PhysX mod but not sure if such thing is possible with today's drivers - The Hybrid PhysX Mod: Using Both an AMD and Nvidia GPU Together.

I then changed to 480 SLI setup (was uninformed about SLI back then, and not realizing my board is Crossfire only) and had to run another SLI mod :banghead::banghead::banghead: It ran without any issues though
