that's only the first map - you'll move on to others - i forget how many there are in total, it's been a while since i last played.

it's a good thing you have a cool buggy to drive around in - doing it all on foot would be a bit of a bore...

you must be on steam? - we'll have to arrange a multi-co-op session - although there may be ping issues as i'm in the uk, thinking about it...

BTW, Ive noticed some weapons are listed in the inventory in White, Green, and Blue.
I know its likely a noob question, but I think I missed the explanation.
What do the color schemes mean?

I must have picked up what seems like 100 weapons so far, most of which are all different.
Doesn't seem to be any shortage of variety

The three Stalker games are outstanding!

They do have some problems so check for all the available patches, tweaks and utilities.

There are tons of mods and a very active mod community. If you like tough games, well then Stalker is the way to go ... you will die a thousand times. Most of the anomalies in the mods are awesome.

I highly suggest purchasing the retail versions. There will be a Stalker 2 in 2012 supposedly.

Though I have the boxed version of STALKER, don't have the other ones, I might give them a look on steam and get them, if the price is right. I still don't trust STALKER as I still say it's one the buggiest games I've ever played.

The buggiest was Cryostasis, and that went in the garbage

The boxed versions are available at Amazon new and used.

All of the auto-generated items in the game (weapons, shields, class mods) are ranked in rarity.

From least rare, to the rarest/best -

• White
• Green
• Blue
• Purple
• Orange
• Dark Orange
• Red
• Pearlescent

Also all enemies are generated the same way items are, it's a pretty cool system.
