I run Win 7 Pro on an HP workstation. My dream is to have any, every and all open files save to the desktop when I press ctrl s. This allows me to look at them and decide what I want to do with them. If I want them to go to Users\Demon\My Documents, I'll send them there. I don't want to change the location of any files that are already stored and not open, I know where they are. I don't want a new library, or a new favorite. I only want to save open files of any type from any application to t h e desktop.
After that harangue, is such a thing possible in Win 7 Pro, and if it is, how do I do it? While not the desired answers, "No" and "You Can't" are perfectly acceptable.
