My scanner (HP F4480) keeps sending my scans to the PDF page. Can somebody tell me how to get it to send my scans to Microsoft Works Word Proccessor.

This is just a general comment as I know nothing about your particular scanner or software but there is usually some option in the scanning software as to where the scans are saved and in which format and I suggest that is the place to look.

OK, I have been into the HP Solution Centre but can not find any clues, HELP.

You've probably found this but could it be this issue in the Updates section?

Critical Update: Cannot find scanned image or document files after scanning completes.
