Scheduled Check Disk not working

For some reason when it counts down it stops at 1 and freezes; ironically what prompted me to try a scheduled check disk is the fact that it had found bad sectors upon booting up one day.

Check Disk has run successfully on my other harddrives, but I keep running into the latter problem every time I boot up and try it on the main drive where the OS is installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

The same happens to me, so there is no way for me to do a disk check
