Hello!

I have a problem wtih the screen brightness on my laptop. The problem is that the screen looses brightness whenever I plug-in or plug out the charger. In the display brihtness menu I have set the maximum brightness for every power plan - just in case and in advanced options I have disabled the dimming option. But the screen still looses brightness every time I plu -in or remove the charger. So I have to change the brightness manualy every time. And when I do so, lower the brightness but the brightness actually increases and I am clueless what to do.

Can you test with another charger?

Do you think its a hardware problem. Or does windows recognise that the brightness has gone down?

thanks for the replies!

Today I tested it with another charger but the result was the same. The brightness goes down to a minimum everytime I plug-in or remove the charger. IE: I run it on battery and I manualy change the settings to full bright - I plug in the charger, the brightness goes down. I manualy set it to full again, I remove the charger and the brightnes goes down again...

I do not think it is a hardware problem. I suspect that windows does the changes in brightness.

I have solved the problem. By setting the screen brigtness to a lower level (just one step), the adjustmen works fine.
