Hi,

Due to a power cut earlier my PC naturally shut off the way you would if you switched it off at the plug.

It brought me into the windows error recovery screen and loaded until I reached the login screen.
Upon saying "Please wait" my screen begun to flash black rapidly and wouldn't load. The monitor wasn't going off or anything, the screen was just blinking.

It still does this every time I reboot my computer, so I can't log in at all.
It also does this in all safe modes so that is out of the question too.

Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!

hid6, power up and start tapping on F8 key, this should bring you to a screen which hopefully will ask if you want to repair your system/ restore your system, select restore to an earlier time/date. Should take you the the traditional system restore function. Go ahead with that and restore to a point one step before the last update was installed.
GOOD LUCK

Thank you, but I have fixed it now!
I just unplugged my computer from everything so I could look inside
Turned out to be no problems inside so I plugged it all back in and it worked fine :)

OK Good for you. Hope it stays that way. Many people have been experiencing black screen issues since Tuesday M$ updates rolled out. I was almost certain you were in that boat also.
