Solved Screen saver not functioning

See my signature for HP Elite system setup.
Screensaver worked earlier today and have been baffled all day.
Removed all USB devices. Even keyboard and mouse which were wireless.

Now using wired mouse and keyboard.


Still no screen saver function.

Can not seem to isolate what is the cause of the screen saver not functioning.

Any further thoughts than what is in WIN7 forums related to this apparently common issue in WIN 7 pro, 64 bit?

It seems that the screen saver is now functioning correctly, almost intuitively. It started working a few days ago and now all is well. What did I do? Nothing that which I can recall. But all is well at the moment.
