When I search for a specific name/email/subject/etc, it is leaving out the most recent findings (usually the last 3-4 days).

So if I send an email right now and then search for it, it doesn't come up.

I have all the folders checked off in search options and I have tried rebuilding the Index. Rebuilding the index has appeared to make the search results more comprehensive but I am still missing recent emails...

Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Same problem here. This first happened in mid-06/2017. Our IT removed KB3203467 (I believe it was), following a quite lengthy re-index, things were fine until 7/31/17. He then removed another, but (after an even longer re-indexing), that didn't fix it.

I've noticed the following (the item I'm using to search for is a something that definitely appears in email subjects and bodies both archived and current and in documents):
> Outlook instant search and advanced find are giving me results from archived folders only.
> Not sure if it has anything to do with this; but, oddly enough searching in file explorer isn't working either and didn't in June. When this all happened in June, once indexing was done, file explorer searching worked but not this time.
> Start menu search's results for file's works but the Outlook items it finds are, again, only those that are archived.

Yesterday we setup an IMAP in Outlook for my email. Once it was populated, search in it gave me the same results (only from archives).

Today I ran ScanPST.exe which said there were a few problems and fixed them. I've never used this before. Thought it was take a while but running and fixing were practically instantaneous.

Also note that our email accounts are gmail. Our IT guy yesterday found that this may be a gmail/Microsoft conflict.

I'm running on Windows 7 Professional and using Office 2010. A co-working has a newer computer running Windows 10 and is using Office 2016. She is on vacation so we're not sure how her Outlook is at this time but she had similar issues in June.

HELP!
