Hi, recently I've been having an issue with cut/paste taking forever for files in my 2nd internal drive. When I select those files and I first run Unlocker it lists the process "searchprotocolhost.exe" as the culprit, I click "Unlock All" and after that I can Cut/Paste. What can I do to fix this issue and avoid having to use Unlocker every time I want to cut/paste a file ? I think that this process is related to Windows Search, but it shouldn't cause this issue. Thanks

What happens if you do not use unlocker?
Does the cut/paste operation eventually work?

No, it loops forever like if it were waiting for something forcing me to cancel it and use Unlocker to unlock the files from searchprotocolhost.exe.

Thanks, I'm currently rebuilding the index, will update if the issue is fixed.
UPDATE: Reindexing has been running for 14 hours already and still showing:"49,658 items indexed
Indexing speed is reduced due to user activity." That number seems to stay constant (does not increase). Is this normal?
