Second HDD Not recognized, not showed in "Equipment window". Help!

Hello, thanks for let me in.

I have a brandnew pc. HP Compaq Pro 6300 MT with Windows 7 Pro 64bits, 4 days ago.
I've been using 1TB(NTFS) Seagate hdd in another pc with windows XP and in a third pc with windows 7 ultimate and works just fine, with no problem at all.

Yesterday, I installed that HDD in my new pc and my surprise when I opened the "Equipment" window was the second HDD was not listed.

When I go to "Manage/storage/Disk Management" the second HDD is listed as: "DISK 1, Dinamic, External" and has a little yellow triangle. If I go to "Properties" almost all options are disabled (please, see the caps attached bellow).

I have cheked the Bios set up and the option for sata AHCI is anabled.

Any sugestion will be really apreciated.

Many thanks

It seems to be giving you the option of converting the disk to basic. Do you have any data on the disk that you want to keep?

Don't give up hope.

Dynamic discs are generally to be avoided at all costs. I have no idea why you suddenly have dynamic discs.

Dynamic discs can be converted, but I cannot recall details of the method. I believe it involves third party programs, possibly Paragon? I don't think it can be easily done with Windows alone.

Pound on the search functions of this web site to see if you can find info on it. I know others have faced the issue, but I don't fully recall the solution.

You just gave me good info to start. No I know where to start searching to read. If I find something will post it here.
