Solved Seeking FLV File Editor

I'm looking for an editor that will allow me to eliminate (delete) portions of a somewhat large (~3 GB FLV) video file. One that will maintain the existing 16:9 aspect ratio (full screen). I already have the complete cadre of AVS4U software (Video Editor, Video Converter, etc.), but can't use its editor as it doesn't support input files that are FLV's (only output). Editing a WMV (to FLV) causes the AVS editor to crash [freeze] unexpectedly). I wish to zoom down to the frame level (AVS feature) to identify the bounds of those frames that I wish to delete.

Obviously, I'd prefer a free download as I've already purchased the AVS s/w.

Would most appreciate any direction from the community.

There are many available and see if you can find something here: Freeware Shareware World Center or here: Best Freeware Download - search freeware downloads and just make sure to take the normal precautions when installing anything and use customized install and untick or say no to any offers to install other software
