SFC /SCANNOW Error and System Image Error

Hmm, Do you have the correct drivers installed and updated?
In MSConfig, are the services and startup entries still present?
Also, what's the exact model and make of your laptop?

The SFC log looks clean to me, but let's wait to see if Noel has any suggestions, he's the expert:)

Good luck and keep us posted,
Nommy

Hi Nommy,
The backup suggestion did not work, I get the same error code when trying to create a Restore Point and while creating a System Image.
Also, I do have the latest Drivers installed. I do have Synpatics automatically start when I turn my laptop on, but it's not working.
My model of Sony Vaio S is SVS13A190S.

I'm beginning to think I will just perform a Clean Install. Will a Clean Install solve all of my problems?

PS: Should I first format my SSD or can I just follow the Clean Install tutorial through sevenforums?

In that case I'd recommend you to remove the drivers via this procedure and then download the newest ones from here. The ones you should look for are called TOUCHPAD and HOTKEY.

I get the same error code when trying to create a Restore Point and while creating a System Image
I find this very weird. When has this problem started to happen? Did you install anything or make any changes to the system/registry before this happened?

A clean install will most likely solve all problems, since it will completely reinstall Windows and format the old installation.
You don't need to format your SSD before the procedure. If you read and follow this guide for preforming the clean install you will be able to create the best possible installation.

Good luck and keep us posted,
Nommy
