Fresh benchmarks when the install was still new; speeds have settled a bit since then.

The EVOs look attractive but I would prefer to wait until the technology, especially TLC, has had time to prove itself. Besides, my 840 Pro is only barely six months old and has a lot of life in her yet.

I still agree with this. I mean, I know that TLC will last much longer than most of us will have a drive, but it's still so new that there are too many unknowns. It looks like simulated SLC nand puts up some great numbers though. If it all pans out and is reliable, that will be great. I like how manufacturers like Samsung aren't content just idling because we are theoretically at the cap for SATA III.......they are making actual progress. Most companies will just be content with what they have until SATA Express comes out.

Here's the spec's on it
EX2-1050BK (Exos-2.5) Liquid Cooling System, Black

The Exos-2.5 possesses triple 120mm fans and an extended heat exchanger for approximately 1000W of cooling capacity. Its powerful PMP-400 pump also better assists systems with multiple blocks, splitters, and other components that naturally reduce flow and pump pressure.

The Exos-2.5 features rear G 1/4 BSPP threaded inlet and outlet fitting sockets (fittings are not included). This allows any Koolance G 1/4 BSPP fitting or threaded quick-disconnect to be added to the unit. Like all Exos systems, the Exos-2.5 will connect with any PC through a standard rear card slot. This is ideal to avoid any modification to the computer chassis.

NOTE: The included Exos Slot Adapter will accommodate tubing up to 3/8" (10mm) ID, 1/2" (13mm) OD. If using 1/2" (13mm) ID tubing, Koolance recommends the BKT-PCI-G with your preferred fittings.

They're still buyable in the uk Koolance Exos (EX2-1050BK) 2.5 Water Cooling System - Black [41077] from WCUK Online but i think it would be better to just do your own custom loop enit.

Looks like I got more for my birthday then I though so I guess if I sell my old cpu I can get my 3570k and a decent £100 motherboard can finaly get above the bottom on the OC leaderboards ^^

I hope you manage to resolve the glitch, you could try some slightly older drivers for the 780 to see if that makes any difference.

I've come to the conclusion that the glitch (jitter, actually) is the Asus monitor. It seems entirely random, as in there's nothing I can do to induce the jitter.

The monitor has my "media repository" machine running Ubuntu 10.04 as a second input, I have experienced random 1 second black screens with both machines, the jitter occurs only on the Windows machine.

It's not load related, jitter can occur when idling at the desktop or when under heavy GPU/CPU load. I ran IBT many times and the jitter happened only once and didn't affect the results.

It's not drivers as the jitter occurred in the BIOS screen when I was setting the clocks back to default. Default clocks made no difference in Windows so I put back my OC settings.

I've tried the Asus as a single monitor, still get jitter. I then ran just the Hannspree monitor and got no jitter.

The Asus is the only monitor I have with 1920x1200 resolution, so I suppose that there is still a slight possibility that it's the graphics card but since I get the momentary black screens on two different systems, the evidence points strongly at the monitor.

Been web-browsing now for a couple of hours with no problem...guess I'll just live with it until it gets worse or something breaks. :huh:

A quick thought Kent, how do you have it connected? HDMI? I have had 2 bad HDMI cables recently which have caused issues.

Just a couple of pic's to keep ya'll going
New psu and cable's are in but it was a bit of a squeeze in the back as the psu cable's are proper long. All thats left to do now is replace the stock fan's and get another ssd.
I couldn't get a decent pic with i the dark. Sorry!

Cables out the back on that case don't matter as they don't affect the air flow at all.

Cheers chap! I'm happy with it but those sleeved cable's are a bitch to arrange in order so they look the same. I gave up in the end
I didn't have time to sharpee the Cougar's yet so i'll still have to do that at some point. Maybe!
