sleep mode

Hi i have a problem where my pc won,t go into sleep mode,the monitor shuts down for 2 secs then boots up again,i have tried installing new bios done a clean install of windows with nothing else on pc and it still does it..i have changed the power settings and it still won,t sleep...anyone got any idea what is causing it.

You might check through the items in this tutorial below to see if may be able to help you determine what is waking up your computer like this. The STEP SIX section is the usual cause though.

hi i have tried all them,it onlt start 3 days ago,i re-installed windows with nothing else and it did it from the start,i have checked my bios updated it to latest 1501,i have set bios to s1 and my monitor sleeps but pc still runs,changed the power settings as suggested,nothing seems to turn it off,i,m thinking its a bug or something in a windows update,when i re-installed it put a acpi update on,i never noticed having it before,i have doen 2 new installs and still get the same problem.
