Hi, before yesterday my desktop computer would take 30-50 seconds to go from power off to desktop. Then suddenly one morning it is taking at least 5 minutes. It goes to 'Starting Windows' and stays at that for 90% of the time. I've tried unplugging all USB devices, I've scanned my whole computer, I've done a system restore point to a point where I had no problems yet the problem is still here.
Also the computer takes just as long to shutdown. Problem is just starting and during down the PC.
My specs are:
Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.40GHz
4GB ram
Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
What more info can I supply?
Many thanks
