Slow W7 Shutdown

I recently cleaned W7 with System Suite 10 Pro - System Suite 10 - All-in-One PC Security, Repair & Tune-Up

now while cleaning, it didn't ask what i wanted to clean or optimize, it just done it auto, from then W7 shutdowns slow. Its runs fine but that windows is shutting down message stays for ages then the system turns off. is there anyway of checking/changing timing?

Try this. Go to start button (window flag in bottom left), in search type in msconfig then hit enter. On the window that pops up, click the Startup tab. Uncheck anything that looks like it may not be required, one at time, starting with System Suite related. Then try rebooting, it sounds like Windows is waiting for something to close.

windows starts to shuts down straight away after i hit the shutdown button, its the final windows is shutting down message that stays active for while then the system turns off.

avoid having to much maintainence software on your pc mate. They eat more resources than you know.

Theres isn't any mate, i normally install > clean > remove. I only have a firewall and a/v running

1000 may be to low, and is not enough time to allow programs to shutdown properly before Windows 7 does. Try 2000 or 3000 to see how shutdown performs afterwards.

still no joy. it was shutting down quick before i messed about with that suite it could have asked me what i wanted to repair, optimize but instead it just done it. don't use the proggy fellow windows users!!!

You might see if doing a system restore using a restore point dated before you installed the suite may be able to undo whatever it did and fix this for you.
