Did anyone get SOF2 to run yet on windows 7 64bit?

If so please let me know what you did.

If not I will just set up a dual boot and play SOF2 from vista.

according to another member on my post, he'd installed the March issue of DirectX 9.0C instead of August. Also, he was using RC drivers instead of 191.07. Try if it works but I think dual booting with Vista is a good idea since most games have issues with 7 for the time being. If Vista works and u don't care about DirectX 11, why not just dual boot?

It would be great if we could figure this thing out though because I can see alot of people are going to have the same issues.

Did the other member say that he got SOF2 to actually run on Windows 7 64bit? When I read the post I thought it was for the 32 bit edition?

Here are the steps I have taken so far.

Updated all the Nvidia Drivers for my 9800 GTX +
Install Direct X 9c - was hoping this would help with OpenGl
Set the program to run as admin.
Set the program to run in Windows XP SP2
Set the program to run in Windows XP SP3

When I start the program this is what I am getting from Windows 7 64bit
Process SOF2MP.exe application crash

Have u check if ur RAMs play nice with 7. I heard there's a lot of compatiblity issues with G-Skill and Corsair RAMs. Also you need to check if your MB is "7 Ready". If not, there'a a big possiblilty for problems coming at you. It might take some time for you to tweek ur system to run a certain game. For me, I'd totally given up since trying 5 games and all of them crash on you, u'll just don't want to waste time any more. Dual booting Vista/XP just for games is the best solution. It only take 20 something GB for Vista. Cut a 120GB partition for Vista and you can play ur games all night long without hard resetting ur system!

If Window 7 is going to be as big as it's supposed to be, they'll update to satisfy.
In the meanwhile, patience is key. We suffered with Vista, why should 7 be any different.
