Solved some updates were not installed issue

It may be caused when I was doing some updating but my pc didn't work properly and I restarted while it was installing these updates.


How can I delete them all? So then maybe I can re-install those updates.

I un-installed all updates I did this day and re-installed them. But still getting same issues.


See the update two/last screenshot of this post for the latest on my issue.

I've tried everything I can think of and I'm clueless on how to resolve this. Any help is very welcome.

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data
If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

What data? I included all you asked me (I think). Again not sure. The readiness tool did not work. I've tried it and re-doing it now just to be sure it doesn't work. Edit: Nope don't get what the point is of this tool...

The CheckSUR results show the following in the summary

I think your best bet is going to be a repair install - the indications are that there may be corruption elsewhere that simply fixing the known problems isn't going to solve.

Have you been using any form of registry 'cleaner' or system cleanup tool?

Well yeah ccleaner which is recmmended by alot of people here. And I'm using also Gary Utilities. But I'll try to fix this with system repair. Hopefully that fixes it.

ccleaner is OK - personally I advise against using the registry repair section, but the rest is fine.

Glary Utilities is one that I've no personal experience with, but I have seen a number of systems that have had that installed where there have been severe problems. It may or may not have been the cause, but I'd again steer clear of it.

For now I'm not going to do a repair install because it scares the hell out of me:

Going through that gives me pain and scares me my windows will only get worse. This tutorial is to complex/risky for my mind at the moment.

Cause I only recently recovered from a major windows boot failure. My windows is working quite fine now. Only the issue in this topic and some other minor things I can live with.

Is there really no other way to fix those errors? And how do I know what errors they are? All errors around my windows update files?

I tried doing some of the updates manually by downloading them and it said "The update is not applicable to your computer" when I fire it up.

Does that mean I don't need to install the updates?

Max; Noel is very busy so let me try to explain.

I looked at your previous threads which point to many problems in a short period of time.
You have also used a registry cleaner of questionable ability.
You also have many errors.
I do believe that is why Noel has suggested a Repair Install.
I would take heed to Neal's recommendation.

It's not only the amount of errors; it's what errors they are. Noel has analyzed your logs and gave his opinion. He is the expert.
