Solved Sony Vaio first time setup

Hello!

My sister got her Vaio VPCM11M1E yesterday. Since I'm the geek in the family I was in charge of setting everything up for her. But I'm encountering some problems. The Vaio software that came qith the laptop is a pain to use. I just can't connect to my WLAN.

I go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing > Connect to a network

I also tried using Vaio Smart Network Utility but I didn't see any way to make it look for networks.

What should I do?

Nevermind I found the problem. I stopped to many services in msconfig. Did a boot with all services active and it worked.
