Windows cannot play sound right after Bios because it has not yet loaded into memory. Bios can emit audio beeps, known as beep codes, should there be something wrong with RAM, HDD, etc.

Yeap, I know about bios bleeps, those things you cannot change. But suppose setting up windows to load audio driver 1st and then play an audio file. Theoretically it sould be possible.. It woulbe nice to make custom boot animations that play audio at the same time (psx-like).
Well, unfortunately it is not so simple as just loading an audio driver, because the computer also need to load the storage device driver and the CPU driver and the motherboard driver, and audio codec .... to do what you want to do. And even then you still need to insert a customised code to launch your sound file.
While it sounds like a nice idea to have, Microsoft don't seem to have designed their product around that level of customisation. Instead, what you can do is customise the Startup Sound you get when the computer loads the Welcome Screen. That is the earliest poss. time I know you can customise. To customise the Startup Sound try the instructions in this tutorial :ar: Startup Sound - Change in Windows 7

I didn't count for storage and mobo drivers.. You are right on this. I just posted for that slight chance in casse it was doable, but as you said, it's on another level. Thank's for clarifying this!
