Solved Sound on my speakers?

This is my first post on this forums and for start hello all.
Recently happend something weird,when I changed modem for internet my speakers don't work.
I saw on control panel and all drivers are okey,also all cable are okey.What is problem?

Can't say I've had a similar problem and it seems highly unlikely that changing your modem would have any effect on your computer's audio system. Have you tried connecting a different pair of speakers or even some headphones? Double check that the sound isn't muted somewhere, could be muted by the icon in the taskbar or from the Control Panel or from an application.

When the modem was changed, there was no need to disconnect then reconnect the speakers, correct? The reason I ask is because, if the speakers had been unplugged/replugged, I would double check to make sure they were plugged in to the output and not the input from your audio jacks.

I tried with headphones immediately but nothing,also i checked all on taskbar and control panel.Always i don't tried with new speaker,i will try.

It won't hurt to try different speakers but if plugging in headphones didn't work then I doubt different speakers will make any difference.

Not sure what else to suggest. You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the audio drivers. Make sure you get the latest drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's website if this is a home built. If a pre-built computer, get the drivers from the computer manufacturer's website. Don't rely on Windows update to supply the correct drivers.

It's possible that the audio circuitry in your computer has failed and that it happened co-incidentally at the same time that your modem was replaced.

BTW, what kind of modem are you referring to? Is it an internal modem used for dialup or are you talking about an external DSL or cable modem? I have been assuming the modem was external (not good to assume anything).

If you have installed a cable from a external modem for access to the internet I'm thinking the speaker connection which is close to the internet cable on the I/O panel of the motherboard could of been damaged or dislodge.
