SP1 is Windows 7’s “Snow Leopard”

Source -e of the complaints against the most recent version of Mac OSX is the fact that Snow Leopard was mostly seen as a Service Pack to its ancestor Leopard. There is nothing wrong with this model. The service pack is supposed to refine the base OS into a smoother, more seamless user experience. Sometimes adding features and always fixing bugs; a service pack is a natural part of the OSes maturity. In the past, there have been service packs that completely changed the game, like XP SP2 and Vista SP1. Early leaks of Windows 7’s SP1 tends to lead towards the non-event type of service pack, which leads to the point that Windows 7 is just that good. It runs well, it runs efficient and, to this date, I still have not come across a virus or had my pc crash.
