SSD for OS

I'm looking at getting a SSD drive for my OS and a few programs. I do not have SATA 6gbs.

What would be a good size?

I have been looking at the OCZ Vertez 2 or the C300...

I will have Win 7 Pro x64, AutoCAD 2011, Office 2010, Photoshop are the larger programs that will be on there.

I'd say get at least 64GB. I personally have the 120GB OCZ Agility 2, runs like a dream. Do you have another hard drive for storage? If not, I'd recommend getting one.

Yes, I do have 2 other drives for storage I can use. I think I will get at least a 120GB... Still have to decide between C300 and Vertex 2.

I have the Intel 80GB and with my OS and 2 games installed, I'm at about 50% usage on my drive. If you game more or run a lot of apps, you might want to go a bit larger on the OS drive.

On my work laptop, I'm using about 80GB of drive space on C currently. But since it's a laptop, it only has 1 hard drive, so it's holding my downloads, music and virtual machine files as well.
