Stand alone "Storm Guard" option?

I think this fits under "case mods", but if this is the wrong forum, please move it.

If anyone has seen the Cooler Master Scout, you probably know of the "storm guard", a device that takes up one expansion bracket and is used to protect peripherals by tangling the wire around it and then plugging it into the port so that way no one can simply rip it out of your PC and steal it. I like the idea and although I liked the Cooler Master Scout, I needed a case with more expansion, so I went with a different case that has an extra expansion bracket perpendicular to the rest (Cooler Master 690 II Advanced) I was wondering if there is anything similar to the storm guard I could put in that perpendicular bracket to use to protect stuff attached to the computer when I go to LAN parties. If there isn't an option, what do you suggest?
