Hi.

I'd like to first appologise if this is in the wrong section.

If you look at the screenshot below, you can see Internet Explorer, Getting Started and Windows Live Messenger have those 'extra options' arrows. Well, the highlighted program, Paint.NET, had one of those arrows, where I could quickly open any recent files I was working on. However, today that arrow has disappeared.

Is there a way of getting it back?

You can see my System Specifications at the bottom of my post.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi theColster123

Thats happened to me before, when i used IEprivacy keeper to clean up trash files. It deletes the history so that arrow is no longer there. If your using cCleaner etc its probably done the same thing.

Try opening paint.net and saving a file and you should see the arrow come back in the start menu.

What have you changed between the time it was there, and the time it disappeared?

Hi, stew2.

I've been working on Paint.NET all day, saving files, crossing off the program, going back on the program, etc, and the arrow still isn't there.

Also, I don't use any software to clean my laptop, and I haven't used anything in the past 24 hours.

Thanks.

Hi, Lordbob75.

I'm not aware that I've changed anything in the past 24 hours.

I used the Paint.NET's shortcut arrow yesterday to work on something. I've been on the Internet. And I transferred some files between two External Hard Drives. That's all I've done in the past 24 hours. I can't see how any of that could make the arrow disappear.

Thanks,

~theColster123.

You may try repairing Paint.Net.

I've just tried repairing Paint.NET, and the arrow hasn't appeared yet. Even tried editing an image.

I've also just tried uninstalling it and re-installing it. Still nothing.
